Today I had my work Beta tested by Alicia and Connor. Connor beta tested my written work, as he is familiar with literature. Overall he liked my work but quite a lot of my grammar needed fixing. He also commented that then ending was far too short and sudden, looking back I see what he means. It was my original intention to have a short sharp blunt ending but I made it a little too short and it just seems rushed, unfortunately it would mess up the page plan if I wrote more so I will just have to stay rushed. I was able to fix the various grammar and spelling mistakes.
As for the illustrations, Alicia thought they were creative and ascetically pleasing, there were no blatantly obvious anatomy flaws bighting the piece. Although she didn't like the grey-scale the images are in, and advised me to do them brown instead. I followed her advice by adding a brown overlay layer, which really did make them look better and it will also look good on the cream paper.
